Jamaica Day 2026
Join us for a vibrant celebration of Jamaican culture and faith at Miracle Temple COGIC! Jamaica Day 2026 will take place Sunday, August 2, 2026, at 4:00 PM, honoring our theme “One Love, One Faith, One Jamaica.”
The afternoon will feature spirited praise and worship, a “Rep Your Parish” recognition celebrating Jamaican heritage through colors, flags, and attire, and a special history presentation on Jamaica. We’ll also enjoy Jamaica Jeopardy, an interactive fellowship game celebrating Jamaican culture, food, music, and history, followed by a powerful sermon preached by Dwayne Wallace.
Come dressed to represent your parish and join us in celebrating this rich cultural heritage through worship, fellowship, and community. Light refreshments will be served immediately following the service.
As the Jamaican motto reminds us, “Out of Many, One People.” Come be part of this joyful gathering as we unite in faith and celebrate the beauty of Jamaican culture together!

A message from our Pastor
Christ's life is the pattern we should follow. While living among men, Jesus performed countless good works, but His goal wasn't to do every possible miracle within His power. Rather, the specific works He accomplished and the way in which He carried them out were according to His Father's will.
That should be our goal as well. We should all take time to consider what good works God is calling us to do as we walk
obediently with Him one step at a time. Let His word guide both our actions and attitudes so the Lord will always be
glorified through us.
